- A big improvement in the Shared Menus feature of URL Manager Pro*.
- An unlimited number of shared bookmark menus can be created.
- You can display all your bookmarks as menus in your browser.
- You can configure the font that is used in the menus.
It is now very easy to show all your bookmarks in the menu bar of your browser. In the
Shared Menus Preferences Panel you can enable the option "Share Whole Document".
Menu items for all bookmarks are now created in your web browser. A custom menu with the name of
the URL Manager document is added to your web browser's menubar and contains all your bookmarks.
Optionally, you can display this menu as an Icon Menu.
Furthermore, because you can set the menu font to a smaller font than the system font (which is either Chicago or Charcoal)
you can display a lot more bookmarks than before.
- Support for Sherlock*. When Sherlock finds URL Manager documents containing your
query, choose "Open Item" or Command-O from Sherlock's File Menu and URL Manager will
open the document and then select the first bookmark that matches the query.
Type Command-G (Find Again) to find the next bookmark.
- Support for Navigation Services*.
- Dragging a bookmark to the Finder Desktop creates an Internet Location File*.
- URL Manager Pro's Preferences Window has been redesigned. Mac OS 8.
- Download a Web Site and Edit in BBEdit via integration with Anarchie Pro.
- URL Manager Pro supports "Smart Scrolling". To see it, enable "Smart Scrolling" in the
Appearance Control Panel*.
- URL Manager Pro uses the Appearance 'Views Font' to draw its bookmarks*.
- Automatically sort folder contents. Each folder has a 'sort' attribute. Enable the
feature via the 'Look and Feel' Preference Panel. Set the 'sort' order of the folder via the
Contextual Menu (Control-Click).
- Updated the CMM plug-in "Add Bookmark". The plug-in will recognize URLs in
text. For an example: Control-Click on a URL in Eudora Pro 4.1 or Claris Emailer 2.0v3.
- Support for Remote Access 3.1*.
- Improved compatibility with Communicator 4.5.
- URL Manager Pro supports Undo when editing bookmarks.
- URL Manager Pro supports the forward delete key.
- URL Manager Pro now uses Kaleidoscope Folders.
- Mondriaan and the URL Manager Module (Control Strip Modules) have been updated.
